Albion Rovers boss Sandy Clark strengthens with defensive duo but wants more signings

Albion Rovers boss Sandy Clark has strengthened his squad with defender/midfielder Arnie Kasa and centre-back Scott Dunn, but is looking to add more in the near future.

Kasa, 30, started Saturday’s 4-0 South Challenge Cup first round win over Newburgh, having signed on Thursday, while 22-year-old Dunn was on the bench, having signed that day.

Clark says his growing squad means he can rest players for what is a challenging schedule ahead of games, with several midweek encounters.

The Cliftonhill gaffer added: “We’re a very young team, but Arnie is a little bit older, and that little bit of experience will hopefully help us along as well. “Scott is a fairly experienced player as well, so we’ve added a wee bit more balance to our squad. “The squad is building, we’ve now got competition for places, whereas if you go back three weeks the team almost picked itself.
