Aidomo Emakhu departs Shamrock Rovers for Millwall

Shamrock Rovers striker Aidomo Emakhu has joined English Championship club Millwall for an undisclosed fee.The 19-year-old spent two seasons at Tallaght Stadium, progressing from the Under-19 side to the senior set-up.He scored an important last-minute winner for the Hoops against KF Teuta in the UEFA Europa Conference League in August, as well as goals against Shkupi and Ludogorets.Emakhu also broke into the Republic of Ireland Under-19 side and regularly featured off the bench for the Hoops in the league over 34 league appearances, which included three starts.He will become a Millwall player on 1 January on a long-term deal.The teenager will train with his new team-mates this week.
