Tottenham Hotspur are nowhere near finished in the transfer market… That is according to Italian transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, who recently delivered an exciting update to GIVEMESPORT, where he revealed Spurs’ intentions heading into the start of pre-season. “They will consider opportunities during the market, this is how Fabio Paratici works, so maybe now at the beginning of July, their focus will be on the right-back after the centre-back, and then they will look at the market and what kind of possibilities there will be,” he claimed.
On Twitter, the renowned guru suggested that the Premier League side were close to sealing a loan move for FC Barcelona centre-back Clement Lenglet, so that would allow them to focus on that right wing-back role.
The Frenchman would be the Lilywhites’ fifth signing of the summer after Ivan Perisic, Fraser Forster, Yves Bissouma and Richarlison.
Lenglet solves a long-standing issue at Hotspur Way. He’ll become the only natural centre-back at the club that is left-footed, with manager Antonio Conte having to deploy full-back Ben Davies in his back three.
