Aaron Rodgers: Green Bay Packers QB slammed for underwhelming numbers by FOX host

Aaron Rodgers has come under fire from FOX Sports broadcaster Nick Wright for his performances so far this season, despite the Green bay Packers being 3-2.  Nobody came into the 2022 NFL season on as high a high as Aaron Rodgers, having finished both the 2020 and 2021 season as the #1 seed in the NFC and having won the league’s MVP award in back-to-back seasons, the first person to do so since Peyton Manning in 2008 and 2009.

And after years of falling short, it looked as if this might have been the season that the Green Bay Packers finally constructed a team that might be able to take them over the top after years of losing big games in the playoffs despite excellent regular season performances.

They added two impressive-looking players on defense in the draft in the form of Devonte Wyatt and Quay Walker, both members of arguably the best college defense of all time, whilst also adding the talented Christian Watson and Sammy Watkins to the wide receiver room through the draft and free agency respectively.

The preseason and regular season didn’t go smoothly for Rodgers and the Packers though, with the quarterback complaining about the level that his receivers were at, what that meant for their development and how it would impact the team, and that manifested itself when Watson dropped what would have been a 75-yard touchdown on his first career NFL catch.
