Team Malizia skipper Boris Herrmann has said that he is “very proud” of his team after their stunning Leg 7 victory, the final leg of The Ocean Race 2022-23.

Team Malizia came home on Tuesday in the final leg to take the victory that saw them finish third in the overall standings. Ad Speaking after the race Herrmann was delighted with his team and the way they sailed.

The Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) on Wednesday imposed a life ban on five former Olympians for trying to form a parallel body. PHF President Tariq Bugti said that former Olympian and internationals Nasir Ali, Khalid Bashir, Saleem Nazim, Abbas Ali and Haider Ali had been banned for life. "The PHF found them guilty of trying to run a parallel federation, stealing PHF records and using funds from a PHF account without approval," Bugti said.
