Mason Mount has swerved talk of a move to Manchester United after being thrown under the bus by Chelsea teammate Ben Chilwell.
The Stamford Bridge duo are attending the Spanish Grand Prix grid and were spotted on the grid by Sky Sports host Martin Brundle as they prepared to soak up the F1 drama. The England international has been heavily linked with a switch to Old Trafford this summer having been left on the fringes of the Chelsea squad during a difficult English Premier League campaign.
And Brundle wasn't going to miss the chance to speak to Mount about a switch to Erik ten Hag's side as he caught Mount and Chillwell during the pre-race grid walk. Chilwell could be heard saying something in the ear of the interviewer before Mount asked: "What is he saying?" Brundle responded: "That you are going to Man United."
However, Mount refused to be draw on the speculation, laughing: "I'm here to simply enjoy this race today. It's an amazing day and I can't wait to watch it."
