Zoe Ball teams up with famous son for new TV show following Gogglebox stint
Zoe Ball and her son Woody are reportedly set to host a new show together, following their successful stint on Celebrity Gogglebox. The mother-son duo have been in talks with several production companies about creating a new series.
Their humour and close relationship during their time on Gogglebox has impressed bosses. The Radio 2 presenter shares 23 year old Woody with her ex-husband Norman Cook, also known as Fatboy Slim. Woody, who recently performed in Brighton, has appeared on The Circle in 2019, Cooking With The Stars in 2022 and the Channel 4 documentary How To Be A Man.
A TV insider recently said: "Zoe and Woody are in big demand and they would like to work on new projects together," They added that a mother and son presenting team is quite rare on British television, so they could bring something different. Woody told The Sun that he and his famous mum 'keep being pitched for really cool stuff'. He added: "The industry is so hard, but we'll get there. I'm excited for whatever we end up landing on," reports the Mirror.
Earlier this year, Zoe Ball and Fatboy Slim - who have another child, Nelly, aged 14, came together for a show of family support. The famous parents were spotted rallying behind their son Woody, as he entertained a large crowd with his DJ skills in Brighton.
At i360 on the Brighton Seafront, Zoe, wore denim palazzo trousers and a light blue blouse, captured her son's performance.
