Zenless Zone Zero: Gamers React to Character Teases

Zenless Zone Zero is the upcoming shooter title from the creators of Genshin Impact and Honkai Impact 3rd, and fans have been reacting to the recent character teases that HoYoverse has released.

Whilst not a huge amount has been confirmed about the game thus far, gamers have been keeping an eye on the teaser website and the small number of clues that it has been issuing.

One of the latest teasers has shown some characters sitting in front of a CRT-style television and fans have been reacting to the models.

Here are some of the reactions from HoYoverse fans to the new character model teasers in Zenless Zone Zero.

A thread on the r/gachagaming Subreddit showed off the random three character models that appeared during the livestream of the teaser site.

Looking at the character models themselves, one Redditor would question whether the Montreal branch of HoYoverse are making the new shooter.

They wrote: “I wonder if this is the game being made by their Montreal branch because both the voice acting in the teaser and the models shown here feels more western than their other games.”

Another Redditor would comment on the rabbit-type model that appeared during the teaser, writing: “The rabbit is just one of my favourite designs for a mascot ever.”

It’s not been confirmed if any of the three characters in the teaser will actually be part of the final game, however, it would certainly make sense.

Not every commenter on the r/gachagaming thread liked the look of the models, with one gamer saying: “The artstyle is kinda weird for me. Like the art is more of anime western style than usual anime style I guess it’s because the one that makes this is their western branch.”
