Youri Tielemans next club odds as Arsenal lead transfer chase for Leicester City star

Arsenal lead the bookies' odds to sign Leicester City ace Youri Tielemans this summer, but the Gunners will face stern competition to do so.

Mikel Arteta's side have been repeatedly linked with a move for the Foxes midfielder, an impressive performer for Brendan Rodgers team.

Tielemans, 25, has scored 24 goals and contributed another 24 assists in 158 appearances since signing from Monaco - initially on a loan deal - back in January 2019.

The attacking midfielder still has around a year to go on his current deal at the King Power Stadium and, according to the Mirror, the Foxes "will consider selling this summer rather than losing the Belgian for nothing".

Both Arsenal and Manchester United remain interested in the 25-year-old, although the Gunners appear to be leading the race with the North Londoners "convinced" they can persuade Tielemans to move with an offer claimed to be around £25m.

The Premier League transfer window officially opens on June 10 and clubs have until September 1 to complete deals, so it could be a lengthy saga with plenty more twists and turns to come before the player's future is finally resolved.
