Young girl taken to hospital after being 'attacked by dogs'

A young girl is reportedly in a stable condition in hospital this evening after being attacked by dogs.

The child was taken to hospital following an incident in Carrington, Trafford, the BBC reports. It says Greater Manchester Police has arrested three people on suspicion of owning a dangerous dog, while four dogs were seized by officers.

It's believed the incident took place at a property on Ackers Lane. Further details about the incident are yet to be confirmed.

Greater Manchester Police and North West Ambulance Service have both been approached for comment.
