Yamaha ‘starts from zero’ with 2023 MotoGP colours

Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP unveiled a brand-new look on Tuesday with the 2023 launch from Jakarta, Indonesia.

An all-new camouflage look graced the YZR-M1 as riders Fabio Quartararo and Franky Morbidelli took to the stage during Yamaha Indonesia Motor Manufacturing‘s 2023 ’3S Dealer Meeting’ - the largest dealer meeting in the world within Yamaha‘s network. Once again Monster Energy branding was front and centre on the design to reflect the continuation of the partnership following an extension to the multi-year sponsorship agreed during the Catalan GP last year.

2023 heralds a new era for MotoGP with the addition of sprint races bring the action total to 42 for the coming season. Despite the added challenge, and recent injury, both Quartararo and Morbidelli are fighting fit and aiming to excel in their hunt for the MotoGP title.

My hand injury is fully recovered now too, so I feel ready to fight for the title again.

“We have the new camouflage livery, which is a nice change. I like the new look, and it‘s good to switch it up a bit but more importantly, I am looking forward to start riding again. I am very curious to test the 2023 YZR-M1 in Sepang.

“We will work hard this season, as we always do.We have learned a lot in 2022, and now I just want to fight for the title again. My fans have been very supportive, sending me lots of messages over the winter. I‘m excited to see them at the tracks again this season. We will have some fun!”

“We are making a fresh start today,
