WWE WrestleMania 40: Exciting update on huge 2024 show

WWE has confirmed both the dates and location for 2024’s WrestleMania 40 event.

WrestleMania has been WWE’s biggest show for close to 40 years now, and that will almost definitely continue despite Vince McMcMahon’s retirement.

We already know that WrestleMania 39 will take place in Los Angeles at SoFi Stadium. It’ll actually be a very significant event, with it being the first WrestleMania without Vince McMahon in charge of WWE.

Even though we’ve still got a WrestleMania to get to in April 2023, WWE has just confirmed some key details about WrestleMania 40 in 2024.

The show will be taking place on April 6 and 7. The event will emanate from Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

BREAKING NEWS: @LFFStadium in Philadelphia will host @WrestleMania 40, on Saturday, April 6 and Sunday, April 7, 2024, as first reported by @PhillyInquirer and @SBJ.https://t.co/UNpWPeh8aF pic.twitter.com/oHrX8bk9uz

The change was initially made at WrestleMania 36 in April 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but it seems like that format is here to stay, which has been received well by fans.

The location is also significant too, with it being pointed out that WrestleMania 40 will be the first WrestleMania in 13 years to take place outside of Florida, Texas, California, Louisiana, or New Jersey.

New WWE CEO and Chairwoman Stephanie McMahon commented on the news, commenting on how WrestleMania was coming back to Philadelphia for the first time in 25 years.

After a long 25 years, WrestleMania is coming back to the City of Brotherly Love – only this time at @LFFStadium over 2 nights,
