WWE: Triple H's insane transformation after body started to break down

Former WWE Champion Triple H’s body transformation is seriously impressive, and somehow still doesn’t get the recognition it deserves.

Triple H wasn’t exactly out of shape during the beginning of his run with WWE (then WWF) during the 1990s, but he went on to get in even better shape as his career went on.

The former WWE Champion, however, has gone on record to speak about how his body started to break down towards the beginning of the 2010s, as can be seen below.

The image below is taken from Extreme Rules 2010, when Triple H lost in a Street Fight to Sheamus in a rematch from WrestleMania XXVI, and is the one fans often use to highlight Triple H’s transformation.

Triple H (real name Paul Levesque) had been training a bodybuilding-style for several years, focusing on high reps and slow tempo, but his joints began to give out and he started to pick up more injuries.

The 52-year-old decided that he needed to change things up, so he decided to start training a completely different way, focusing on his overall health and longevity.

HHH decided to go for a more athletic approach to training, contracting Joe DeFranco to help out with that, and he hasn’t really looked back since.

While he may no longer be training purely for the aesthetic, Triple H arguably got himself into the best shape of his life towards the end of the 2010s.

The WWE Hall of Famer looked the best he did at any point of his WWE career towards the end, as can be seen from the side-by-side comparison below, getting a lot bigger and more defined.

The second image below was taken from Triple H’s Instagram from 2016, where he is arguably in the best shape of his entire career.
