Whilst the YouTuber turned boxer has already defeated some former UFC and MMA fighters in Ben Askren and Tyron Woodley, his next bout appears to be against one of the greatest octagon fighters in the history of the sport: Anderson Silva.

Despite the fact that ‘The Spider’ Silva is now 47 years old, he does represent a genuine challenge for the ‘Problem Child,’ as he has a 2-0 record in the boxing ring and is a prolific striker, having secured a huge win on the undercard of a recent Floyd Mayweathercard.

Reports indicated that the bout is set to take place on Saturday, October 29th. No Smoke Boxing, citing unnamed sources first reported the news, and these reports were then later confirmed by TMZ and MMA Fighting.

The 25-year-old Paul was originally scheduled to face Hasim Rahman Jr. back in August from Madison Square Garden, but this bout would end up being cancelled due to Rahman not being able to make weight.

Fans of the ‘Boxtuber’ have been wondering when he will be getting back into the pugilistic endeavour, and we now appear to have a date for the next Paul brother contest.

These reports have now been revealed to be right as it has now been confirmed that the two will be fighting on this date.
