Roman Reigns breaks character at WWE show to deliver heartfelt promo

Roman Reigns, usually a cocky heel, broke character at a non-televised WWE show recently to deliver a heartfelt promo to the fans.

Roman Reigns, as we’ve come to know him over the last 18 months as ‘The Tribal Chief’ has become an aloof heel.

The Universal Champion doesn’t usually pander to the fans, but that changed when Reigns hit up Pensacola, Florida for a WWE show on Sunday night.

The 36-year-old emanates from Pensacola, and was seemingly feeling rather emotional while delivering an impassioned promo to the fans after the show.

The main event to the show saw Roman Reigns and The Usos face Drew McIntyre, Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston in a six-man tag team match, which The Bloodline one.

After the show had finished, and Reigns had won his match, the former Shield member got onto the mic to address the live crowd.

As can be seen below, Reigns went on to speak from the heart about how much it meant for him to be back performing in his hometown.
