WWE 2K22: Will Cody Rhodes be in this year's game?

WWE 2K22 has a huge roster of wrestlers for you to choose from but will Cody Rhodes be in this year’s game?

The American Nightmare made a stunning debut at WrestleMania, as he was revealed as Seth Rollins’ mystery opponent.

The two then put on an absolute clinic in the ring, with Cody emerging triumphant on his return to the company he left back in 2016.

Of course, Cody went away and helped form All Elite Wrestling, who are now WWE’s main competitors in North America.

The former Stardust was an executive vice-president at the company, and was a consistent presence on AEW television.

However, he is now back in WWE and he outlined his aims on Monday Night Raw, where he revealed that he intends to go after the WWE Championship in order to win the title his father, Dusty Rhodes, never held.

That could put him on a collision course with current WWE Undisputed Universal Champion Roman Reigns, who beat Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania to unify the WWE Championship and the Universal Championship.

Cody, then, is going to be a main player in the promotion over the next few months, but will he be in WWE 2K22?

The answer, in terms of him being added as an official character, is likely no.

2K have already revealed their DLC packs, with there being a variety of legends and even celebrities coming into the game over the next few months.

The following wrestlers and celebs have been confirmed as DLC: Yokozuna, Umaga, Rikishi, Omos, Kacy Catanzaro, Cactus Jack, The Boogeyman, Vader, Ilja Dragunov, Indi Hartwell, Hurricane Helms, Stacy Keibler, A-Kid, Wes Lee, Nash Carter (he has since been released), Doink the Clown, Ronda Rousey, The British Bulldog, Mr T, Doudrop, Rick Boogs, Rob Van Dam, Logan Paul, Machine Gun Kelly, LA Knight, Xia Li,
