WWE Raw: Randy Orton throws it back to 2009 by bringing back old look

Randy Orton took fans for a little trip down memory lane by bringing back one of his old looks on WWE Raw.

On last night’s episode of Monday Night Raw, Randy Orton teamed with Riddle to take on Seth Rollins and Kevin Owens in the show’s main event.

Rollins and Owens ended up picking up the win, inserting themselves into the Raw Tag Team title match with RK-Bro and Alpha Academy for the March 7 show.

However, it was Randy Orton’s appearance for the match, rather than the in-ring action itself, that really got fans talking.

Orton shaved his head and removed all of his facial hair for last night’s show, looking remarkably similar to how he did back in 2009 and 2010.

WWE’s official Twitter account even made reference to Orton’s throwback look during the show last night, as you can see below.

Just like he was back in 2009, Randy Orton is still one of WWE’s top stars, and has been one of the most enjoyable parts of Raw over the last year alongside Riddle.

The former WWE Champion has managed to get himself over as arguably WWE’s top babyface over the last ten months, so much so that fans believe he cannot turn heel.

Orton and Riddle, in the eyes of many fans, are set to feud heading into WrestleMania 38, but Randy has become so popular that fans believe it has to be Riddle that turns on him.

However, a portion of fans are so behind RK-Bro right now that many feel as if WWE simply cannot break the act up anytime soon, due to its sheer popularity.
