WWE Raw: Major 'return' confirmed for WWE Superstar

WWE have advertised a return of a former Superstar to next week’s Monday Night Raw, former 24/7 Champion Elias. 

Elias hasn’t been seen on WWE TV since his loss in a Symphony of Destruction match to Jaxson Ryker on July 19, 2021. However, on the Raw after WrestleMania we did see the debut of his ‘brother’ Ezekiel, who shares a striking resemblance to the guitar wielding Superstar. 

Ezekiel has been at the centre of a rivalry with Kevin Owens ever since making his WWE bow, with KO believing that he is not the brother of Elias but is in fact Elias himself only repackaged. (And yes kids, of course he’s right). 

The ‘lie’ as Owens has labelled it has led to an unlikely success of a feud between the former Universal Champion and Ezekiel that has seen the brother of Elias pass a lie detector test and continually frustrate Owens. 

Despite defeating Zeke at Hell in a Cell earlier this month, the pair clashed again this week on Raw with Ezekiel gaining the victory by way of count out. After the match, the younger sibling took to the mic to announce his excitement for both the upcoming Money in the Bank and match and next week’s Raw, where Elias is set to make his WWE return. 

Quite how WWE plan to pull the appearance of both Elias and Ezekiel is not clear, but it’s something they’ve already played around with on social media. With Zeke posting an image onto his Instagram account that seemingly looks like the brothers ‘together’. 

It’s an image that has gone down so well WWE Shop have even created a t-shirt around it. While Ezekiel has stated his dream is for he and his brother to be WWE tag team champions.
