WWE NXT: Doudrop ends up with bloody nose during tag team bout

The main roster invasion of NXT 2.0 continued during last night’s episode and left one Superstar with a horribly bloody nose.

Nikki A.S.H. and Doudrop were in action once again on Tuesday night as they defeated Toxic Attraction in tag team action. 

However, despite the win, Doudrop didn’t come through the bout unscathed and in the closing stages on the match blood could been seen seeping out of her nose. 

Upon a replay of the bout’s key moments, it showed the Scottish star taking the full brunt of a vicious boot to the face from Jacey Jayne that seem to cause the injury. With NXT commentator Wade Barrett commenting that he once broke his nose in similar fashion. 

There was no confirmation on the extent of the injury to the 31-year-old, but later in a backstage segment she had her face buried in a towel to stop the bleeding.

The match was the pair’s third TV appearance in a row, following Sunday night’s clash with NXT Tag Team Champions Katana Chance and Kayden Carter and then a tag match this past week on Raw. 

There was, however, no sign of Nikki A.S.H.’s apparent anger we saw on Monday night. Where it looked as though she’d shed her superhero gimmick, following her taking the mask off and throwing it in angry disappointment at her tag team partner. 

Elsewhere on the show, Ricochet gained some revenge from his North American Title defeat to Carmelo Hayes at Worlds Collide by defeating Hayes’ righthand man Trick Williams. 

It was also announced that next week’s one-year anniversary show of NXT 2.0 will include fan interaction where they’ll be able to choose stipulations for matches during the show.
