WWE NXT champ Jacy Jayne ready for call-up, puts women's division on notice

WWE NXT women's champion Jacy Jayne is ready for her main roster call-up and put the division on notice in an interview with Fox News Digital.

WWE NXT women’s champion Jacy Jayne may have had the best year of anyone with the brand.

She became a two-time women’s champion within a year, knocking off Stephanie Vaquer and then regaining the championship against Tatum Paxley. 

Jayne’s reign has lasted more than 135 days as she heads into Stand & Deliver for a triple-threat match against Kendal Grey and Lola Vice.

The New Jersey native has been on the NXT roster for about five years and has only gotten a little taste of the main roster, appearing on SmackDown briefly in 2022 and making her women’s Royal Rumble debut in January.

Jayne may be in line for a full-time main roster call-up sooner than later, following in the footsteps of Vaquer, who got her call in the months after Stand & Deliver 2025.

She told Fox News Digital in a recent interview that if she would have been called up a few years ago, she would have floundered.

"I’ve been in NXT for about five years now," Jayne said. "I feel like if I got called up two or three years ago, it wouldn’t have ended well. I would have been gone by now.
