WWE main roster star makes shock NXT appearance
Apollo Crews has become the latest member of WWE’s main roster to make an appearance on NXT 2.0.
On the latest episode of NXT 2.0, NXT Champion Bron Breakker was addressing the crowd and speaking about his successful defence of his title at In Your House and then issued a challenge, asking who would step up to face him next.
Surprisingly the second-generation star was greeted by the sight of former Intercontinental Champion Apollo Crews, making his return to the NXT brand. Creed was greeted to a chorus of cheers for the fans in attendance, who chanted his name and ‘We miss you’ at the 34-year-old.
Apollo said the feeling was mutual and went on to praise the current NXT Champion, Breakker and his sudden rise to the top of the brand.
Man I’ve gotta say, I’ve witnessed your meteoric rise to to top, and you are one of the best athletes, not just in NXT but in all of WWE.
Crews, who had been away from the NXT brand for six years, admitted that he had some unfinished business in NXT and hinted at challenging Breakker for his NXT title because he wants to make history.
This place is special, and I love this place! When I left NXT for the first time, I left way too soon, and I left a lot of things that I wanted to accomplish on the table. But I’m back to correct history! I am back to change history! Apollo Crews is back to make history!

It was a noticeable character shift for Apollo, too. As he appeared without Commander Azeez and the Nigerian themed attire, while his accent reverted back to his natural dialect, rather than the more Nigeran sounding tones he’s been sporting since his gimmick change in 2021.
That wasn’t the last
