WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry believes Riddle is a future world champion

WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry has earmarked a certain Raw Superstar as future world champion. 

Henry, a former world heavyweight champion himself in WWE, believes that the company have a bona fide future world champ on their roster in Riddle.

After joining forces with Randy Orton last year, Riddle’s popularity has soared, and the pair have become one of the biggest fan favourite acts on the roster – while also looking like they are having the time of their lives doing it. 

So much so that earlier this month there had been plans to have Riddle take on Roman Reigns in a Undisputed WWE Universal Championship match this summer. Those plans now looked to have changes, but Mark Henry is already convinced that the Original Bro belongs at the top of the WWE tree. 

Speaking on Busted Open Radio, Henry believes it’s Riddle’s connection with the fans that’s the key to his appeal. 

Championship material. That’s what he is. World Heavyweight Championship material because people feel for him, people love him…it’s hardest thing in the wrestling business to get, it’s sympathy and affection. Now you can have Riddle not do the scooter. You can always have Riddle dial stuff back and say, you know what, it says it in the Bible. Once I was a child and did childish things and then I grew up and act as a man and put away childish things. We always say wrestling is the Bible, it’s good vs. evil. It’s simply psychology.

Over the past few weeks Riddle has been without his RK-Bro partner, with Orton taking a break from WWE. However, it hasn’t halted his momentum and the 36-year-old has joined forces with Shinsuke Nakamura to battle The Usos and also mixed it up with The Miz this past week on Monday Night Raw.
