WWE 2K23: Five legends we want to see return in the new game

WWE 2K23 has been officially confirmed by Take-Two Interactive so we’ve taken a very close look at the legends we want to see in the upcoming game.

WWE 2K22, of course, was a critical and commercial success, coming off the back of WWE 2K20, which was nothing short of an unmitigated disaster.

WWE 2K22 features an immense roster of wrestlers, with a variety of stars also coming as DLC after the release of the initial game.

The likes of Yokozuna, Cactus Jack, and the British Bulldog were all added to the game after the fact, and we’ve had a look at the legends we want to see in WWE 2K23.

The main rule here is that they weren’t featured in WWE 2K22, so let’s get right into it.

It’s baffling to us that Lita wasn’t included in WWE 2K22.

She’s one of the most iconic female superstars of all time, had a truly world-class feud with Trish Stratus, and formed a key part of two Hall of Fame-worthy acts, being Edge’s on-screen and off-screen partner, and playing a role in the success of the Hardy Boyz.

She’d be great fun to use in the game, too, so we’re hopeful that 2K can agree a Legends deal with Lita and get her in for 2K23!

It’s Kurt Angle!

He’s not signed anywhere else. It’s not like he’s appeared in AEW or Impact. In fact, he is being advertised to return to WWE next week.

As a result, there is little excuse not to include him in WWE 2K23. He’s a Hall of Famer, a four-time WWE Champion and a Grand Slam Champion.

Not having him in 2K is a joke, and we want him in 2K23!

Molly Holly has popped up in a couple of Royal Rumbles since her retirement and she can still go!

She wouldn’t look out of place in today’s roster but she was an omission from WWE 2K22.
