Wrexham owner Ryan Reynolds responds to fan's plea to purchase Manchester United
Ryan Reynolds has pledged his allegiance to Wrexham after a Manchester United fan pleaded with the Hollywood actor to launch an Old Trafford takeover.
Wrexham have been in fine form in the National League this season, the fifth tier of English football. The Welsh club find themselves second in the table and are in the FA Trophy final.
United, meanwhile, are struggling in the Premier League. Ralf Rangnick's men are six points off fourth place and their hopes of Champions League football for next season are hanging by a thread.

In a bid to try and change the fortunes at Old Trafford, one cheeky United supporter asked the Deadpool star if he would buy the club. Reynolds, however, was having none of it. He responded: "I’m already seeing someone."
United are set for a pre-season of change both on and off the field. High-profile players like Paul Pogba, Jesse Lingard and Edinson Cavani are all expected to leave at the end of the season. United are also expected to appoint a new manager with Erik ten Hag the frontrunner for the post.
