Informational Defence of Ukraine provides a daily review of the military-political situation in Ukraine, morning of March 14th, based on an analysis of open sources.

1. The russian occupiers have not achieved success in any of their operational areas and are suffering losses as a result of counterattacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the russian occupiers in the Slobozhanskyi direction are trying to gain a foothold on the achieved frontiers, regrouping and trying to resume offensive operations against the cities of Kharkiv and Sumy.

In the Izium direction, because of active actions of Ukrainian defenders, the enemy sustained losses.

In the Donetsk and Tavriia directions, enemy units are trying to carry out assault operations, concentrating their main efforts on advancing in the direction of Severodonetsk, and their attempts to capture Mariupol remain unsuccessful.

In the Pivdennobuzkyi direction,the enemy is trying to conduct raids and gain a foothold on the achieved frontiers.

In the Volyn direction, the enemy carried out demonstration operations by units of the Belarusian Armed Forces along the State Border of Ukraine.

In the Polissia and Siverskyi directions, units of the occupying forces carried out measures to restore combat capability and regroup troops, and improved the logistics.

In order to increase the number of groups in the Polissia, Tavriia and Pivdennobuzkyi operational areas, the russians are forming strategic reserves to our borders.
