WPD wrap: Cork City beat Bohemians late on, Treaty United down DLR Waves
A late Dorothea Greulich screamer completed a comeback victory for Cork City, as they defeated Bohemians 2-1 at Turner's Cross, while Treaty United beat DLR Waves 2-0 at the UCD Bowl.
It was a quieter-than-normal Saturday in the SSE Aitricity Women's Premier Division, with three games postponed due to international call-ups, so four sides had the chance to steal a march on their rivals.
Treaty were on the back of four straight league defeats as they travelled to Dublin for an afternoon kick-off against DLR Waves, who were just a point behind the Limerick outfit ahead of kick-off.
First-half goals from Delana Friesen and Danielle Steer ensured that the gap between the two sides is now four points, the same amount that separates the Waves and Sligo Rovers at the bottom of the table.
What a way to win it
