'Worried' - Philippe Coutinho reveals his biggest Aston Villa concern after Barcelona transfer

Aston Villa playmaker Philippe Coutinho has revealed his biggest concern following his arrival at the club on loan in the January transfer window.

The 29-year-old made his return to English football after securing a record breaking £142million transfer from Liverpool to Barcelona in 2018, having spent five years in red at Anfield. Coutinho has now gone on to secure a permanent move to Villa Park in a deal worth around £17.2 million, which will see him remain at the club until 2026.

Speaking to the Daily Mail, Coutinho has admitted he was "worried" about certain aspects of a move to England but went on to add how well he and his family have now settled. He said: "When we came we were worried about schools and things but it's been easy and they are very happy.

"I had to remember how physical it is here. The first few trainings and games were hard but now I have managed to adapt.

"I have been here six months and hopefully after a full pre-season my body will be better. It was hard at the beginning but I am getting used to it now and it makes me happy to see all the fans in England again.

"It makes me feel very happy and it makes me want to succeed more and repay that on the pitch. Even more than normal."
