WorldSBK Most: Laverty seeks return to early-season form

Bonovo BMW’s Eugene Laverty is seeking a return to the WorldSBK form he had before the big crash at Assen but will have to find a rear-grip solution at Most in order to achieve it.

The Czech Republic track is new to Laverty but he has turned some laps on a track day so he at least knows which was to turn at the bottom of pitlane tomorrow morning.

“Most is a track I have not been before, but I was grateful that Bonovo action BMW Racing provided me with a bike to ride there a month ago at a track day just to learn the layout,” he said.

“That means I can start free practice one knowing where the track goes. Donington was tough for me, so I need to regain the form I had at the start of the season. That is my goal.

And I am not a rider who likes to finish the race before, but in the final race it did not make sense to do those last laps. I was so far behind. I did everything with my team, they never give up, but
