World Snooker Championship 2022 draw, scores and schedule

The World Snooker Championship 2022 kicked off on Saturday at the iconic Crucible Theatre in Sheffield with Leicester's top seed and defending champion Mark Selby seeking a fifth title. Ronnie O'Sullivan is also in action as he seeks to equal Stephen Hendry's seven world titles.

Previous winners Mark Williams, John Higgins, Judd Trump and Neil Robertson are also at the tournament to challenge Selby, who won three times in four years between 2014 and 2017 before claiming the title once more last year in 2021. The action got underway on Saturday 16 April and continues today.
