World Series 2025: How to watch the Toronto Blue Jays vs. the L.A. Dodgers
Baseball is going to be consuming the attention of much of the country for the coming week, as Canada's only Major League Baseball team, the Toronto Blue Jays, takes on the defending champion L.A. Dodgers in the World Series.
It's the first time Toronto has made it to MLB's championship series in 32 years.
That means game tickets are a hot commodity — with credit-card melting prices that are estimated to average $1,623 US for Game 1.
But there are, of course, less financially ruinous ways to cheer on Canada's team. Here's the lowdown on the upcoming games and how you can watch them.
The World Series is a best-of-seven scenario and the Jays have home-field advantage for the first two games. Here's the schedule, including Games 5-7 if they're required. All games are scheduled to start at 8 p.m. ET:
Sportsnet and TVA Sports are the rights holders for broadcasting the World Series games in Canada.
If you prefer to keep it old school, Sportsnet 590 is carrying the games on the AM waves.
The City of Toronto will host free public viewing parties at Nathan Phillips Square for all home games, complete with a live DJ and Blue Jays trivia with prizes.
The University of Toronto will also screen the games on the school’s front campus lawn downtown.
The Maple Leafs and Raptors will also show the Jays games on the Scotiabank Arena videoboard following their games. Both teams have moved their game start times to accommodate the World Series schedule.
Rogers has also announced it will hold viewing parties at the Rogers Centre for Games 3 and 4 in L.A. Tickets are going for $15, though Game 4 appears to be sold out already.
Wherever you are, seats in bars across the country are likely to be a hot commodity — so it's probably a good idea
