'World's coolest Shake Shack' wows with in-house aquarium and exclusive menu

A Shake Shack in the Bahamas is turning heads with its own aquarium and an impressive menu.

Labelled the "coolest restaurant" by a luxury travel expert, this particular outlet sits on Atlantis Paradise Island in The Bahamas. It's just a short 35-minute journey from Miami, Florida, and visitors can easily pop in using a day pass or via a stop-off point on a Caribbean cruise.

The eatery shot to TikTok stardom recently after being lauded by Nicole Sutherland to her 1.5 million followers. "I think I found the coolest restaurant in the world while travelling recently," she said at the start of her review. Unlike other underwater dining spots that are expensive and require advance reservations, she said this one is uniquely accessible and wallet-friendly.

Nicole showcased the restaurant's stunning decor, featuring vast tanks alive with tropical marine creatures swimming just inches away from diners. With sharks passing by the tables as patrons enjoyed their meals, Nicole praised the eatery as the "most unique experience on offer."

Feasting on a traditional cheeseburger and fries, she was particularly impressed with the "standard Shake Shack fare" and a special limited-time Sunset Shake she described as "incredible." The crowning feature, she noted, are the tables offering panoramic views.
