World Cup qualifier: Zimbabwe unveils 23-man squad to face Nigeria

Nigeria’s Super Eagles Group C opponent in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers, Zimbabwe, has unveiled the Warriors 23-man squad.
The Super Eagles will be guests to Zimbabwe on matchday two of the qualifiers on Sunday, 19 November.
The Zimbabwe Football Association announced the squad on their X handle on Monday.
Among the players selected to face the Super Eagles are Udinese defender Jordan Zemura and Lyon forward Tinotenda Kadewere.
Also on the list are Marvellous Nakamba who plays for Luton Town and Marshall Munetsi of Stade de Reims.
Before Sunday’s game, the Warriors will face Rwanda away on Wednesday, 15 November for their first Group C game.
Meanwhile, on Sunday, the Warriors had their first training session at Kigali Pele Stadium in Rwanda’s capital.
Super Eagles players are expected to arrive Uyo today (Monday) for the two qualifiers against Lesotho and Zimbabwe.
