World Cup: Gareth Bale launches his own line of beers ahead of FIFA showpiece
The FIFA World Cup is fast approaching as fans all over the globe gear up for football’s greatest carnival.
Qatar is ready and waiting to welcome the 31 other nations lucky enough to have booked their spot at the finals.
One of those nations, who will go with loyal band of merry followers in tow, is Wales, after they qualified for their first World Cup in 64 long years thanks to a brilliant campaign.
With Gareth Bale set to lead the line for the Dragons, there could many an upset on the cards in Qatar.
However, Bale has his mind on more than just footballing matters it seems after announcing a brilliant partnership with Glamorgan Brewing Company.
In conjunction with the beer manufacturers, Bale has released his own line of drinks, including a lager and an ale, in a bid to raise money for grassroots football in Wales.
Bale, who doesn’t partake in alcohol himself, said the campaign was designed to capitalise on the hype surrounding the upcoming World Cup and give back to areas where funding is so welcome.
