Woman tries to order eggs for lunch in Greece and is baffled by their reaction

A woman was left unimpressed while ordering her food in Greece, as staff ended up in "disaster" and completely baffled by her favourite meal.

But the reality is that while some people our adventurous with their food, others like to stick to their favourite meals and home comforts even while abroad. Australia woman, Lia Georgantis, travelled to Greece recently and stopped off for a bite to eat on the beach. She really wanted eggs, chips and feta together in a bowl - a popular dish often found on menus around the tourist hotspot. She explained in a viral TikTok video - which has raked in over three million views - that the staff would not allow her to have eggs because it was passed breakfast time.

Lia, who has raked in over 2.9million views on TikTok, said: "Sometime things in Greece are just so much harder than they need to be." She joked that the ordeal was like a Greek tragedy.

The holiday lover, who is CEO of a multi-fashion boutique brand, explained: "I asked in Greece if I could have eggs with chips and feta and they said no, because eggs are for breakfast. So we had to go to the point, like it was a whole disaster for them. They honestly wanted to go drown themselves, it was a Greek tragedy."

Lia, who got married in Athens, said they made her eggs just before the breakfast window had closed, and 15 minutes later they brought her chips, instead of serving them together. Once her fries arrive, Lia placed her eggs on top of her chips and feta.
