Woman, 77, 'looking for love' found lost on M60 - but police help her get to special Tesco's date

The quest for love can be long and arduous.

But Greater Manchester Police (GMP) were prepared to help one woman this afternoon (June 3) after she became 'lost' on her way to a special date at Stockport Tesco's.

The woman, 77, had travelled from Lincoln to meet her beau in the supermarket - but got lost on the M60, putting her romantic plans in jepoardy.

Luckily, she was found by GMP Traffic officers, who helped guide her back on the right path to her date - and hopefully to love!

In a post on Facebook, the force wrote: "Motorway Cops located a lost Lady on M60 tonight, 77 years young at heart ,she was looking for Love, traveling from Lincoln meeting her new beau at Stockport.

"She was over the moon when our Cupid Cops guided her back to a date at Tesco's, @gmptraffic going the extra mile."
