Woman, 35, posts videos of herself having sex with man in popular city centre nightlife spot

A mum-of-four posted videos of herself having sex with a man in a popular city centre nightlife spot, a court heard.

The clips of Kelly Cousins - and a man police say is Joe Firby, from Gateshead - were shared on Cousins' own social platforms, where she uses the pseudonym Ruby Rose. They appeared to show the pair having sex in Liverpool's Concert Square in full view of members of the public last month.

Yesterday (September 20), Cousins appeared at Liverpool Magistrates' Court charged with outraging public decency, the Liverpool Echo reports. The 35-year-old admitted the charge and will be sentenced next month.

Her co-accused Joe Firby was not in court and will appear at a later date. When the videos were posted online, they quickly went viral, the court was told.

A criminal investigation was launched and the police and mayor condemned the acts. Andrew Page, prosecuting, told the court videos of Cousins and a man having sex close to Einstein Bier Haus in Concert Square began circulating overnight on August 2 this year.

He said Cousins posted one of the videos to her own social media accounts with the comment: "Where next? Crosby Beach, Mathew Street, Saint John’s Garden’s or the docks?". The videos were shared widely on social media and drew condemnation, including from city mayor Joanne Anderson, who called them 'damaging and criminal' in a statement in which she requested people stop sharing them.

Cousins, who is originally from Bradford but was living in Bootle when the videos were filmed, was arrested days later and interviewed by police. Mr Page said: "She made no comment although she did appear to
