Wolves targets with 'Lage and Shi's ambitions would be perfect fit' at Molineux

Wolverhampton Wanderers will find the ‘perfect fit’ by targeting stars who ‘match Bruno Lage and Jeff Shi’s ambitions’ at Molineux, according to journalist Josh Holland.

Shi appointed Lage as the West Midlands club’s head coach last summer and, after securing a top 10 finish, he could look to bolster his squad in the upcoming transfer window.

Sporting midfielder Joao Palhinha could prove to be Wolves’ first signing of the summer as, according to Portuguese media outlet Correio da Manha via Sport Witness, Lage has approved a big-money move.

The report suggests Sporting are demanding £25.5million for the 12-cap Portugal international, but he is not the only ace currently with the Lisbon giants that the Premier League outfit are targeting.

That is because Matheus Nunes is also known to be on Wolves’ radar after a season which saw him register 11 goal contributions.
