Wolves star 'added' to Manchester United shortlist and other transfer rumours

Manchester United are already being linked with potential new signings ahead of the summer transfer window.

Erik ten Hag is nearing the end of his second season in charge at United, and will still have ambitions of enjoying a successful campaign. The Reds have an FA Cup semi-final against Coventry City later this month, while there is also plenty to play for in the Premier League.

United are battling to secure a top-four spot that would see the club qualify for the Champions League next season. It's also possible that fifth place could be enough for qualification, depending on where England stands in UEFA's coefficients.

Despite there being plenty left at stake this season, United are already being linked with possible new signings when the transfer window reopens. The latest rumours concern a centre-back and a left-back that could move to Old Trafford.

According to The Times, Wolves defender Max Kilman is a player of interest to United. It has been claimed that the Reds are already progressing with their plans for the summer window, which seemingly sees the defence being the area of the squad deemed in need of strengthening.

The report claims that Kilman has been added to a shortlist created by United that includes other potential centre-back targets. United have not yet made an approach to Wolves to sign Kilman, it has been claimed, and it remains to be seen if the Molineux club would allow the defender to depart at the end of the season.
