Wolves players fail Bruno Lage as fans pile in on Burnley defeat
Wolverhampton Wanderers slumped to defeat in the Premier League on Sunday when they lost 1-0 to Burnley.
Matej Vydra's second half strike downed Wolves and condemned Bruno Lage's men to another damaging defeat in their bid to qualify for European football.
Wolves will now work this week toward the visit of Brighton and Hove Albion on Saturday.

Lage's message to his Wolves players was clear before they arrived at Turf Moor to face relegation battlers Burnley on Sunday. "It's an important game because there's six games to go and we cannot expect that West Ham or Arsenal will lose their games," Lage said.
"We need to do our role. We are eighth and with the position in front of us we cannot miss too many chances. We go there with our own goals. We have six games to go, let's go and fight to put the club in European football."

Lage and his Wolves side have once again wasted an opportunity to pile the pressure on in the race for Europe, after losing 1-0 to Burnley this afternoon. Vydra dragged his side out of the relegation places with a second half strike just after the hour mark, handing Lage's side their sixth defeat in their last nine Premier League fixtures, which has severely hindered their chances of qualifying for European football in next year's campaign.
Wolves fans have since reacted to the result, with one fan writing: "Not good enough at all." Another added: "Looking like Newcastle United may finish above us, who would have thought that a few weeks back."
