Wolves fans singing Daniel Podence's praises after breaking Premier League drought

Wolverhampton Wanderers supporters are singing the praises of Daniel Podence after the winger's winner against Leicester City.

Ruben Neves gave Wolves the lead from the edge of the area within ten minutes before Leicester loanee Ademola Lookman equalised before the break.

Despite being second best after half-time, Daniel Podence put Bruno Lage 's side back in front with a first Premier League goal of the season after picking out the bottom corner from even further out.

The win puts Wolves back above Tottenham Hotspur in 7th place and just two points behind Arsenal and West Ham United.

Here is a selection of the social media reaction after the full-time whistle at Molineux.

So pleased Podence got a goal today, he has worked so hard for it.

Daniel Podence is the best on Earth!

Love the man but please can we bin off the Podence/L’amour song… it’s absolutely woeful

Good job we've got Podence atm different class out the front 3!

We have not deserved that. I'm genuinely sorry Leicester City fans.

Romain Saiss has taken a good few steps backwards today. Really struggled.

Pedro Neto straight in doing what we've wanted to see more of today.... we ain't got the ball, so get it back and get forward.

Great to see Neto back playing missed him, man, what a player.

Winning ugly is so beautiful.

Massive win that, great to see Neto back on, weren’t at our best today but two special goals from two top players.

Not at it for most of the game, totally dominated for other parts of it. Great win. Really important result.

YES!!! Wasn't feeling that beforehand as Leicester is usually a hard game for us. We go again against Arsenal in the week. 'Dreaming is for free'.

Nowhere near our best there. Leicester good
