Wolves chase Paris Saint-Germain teenager

Wolverhampton Wanderers have reportedly made a loan-to-buy offer for Paris Saint-Germain's Djeidi Gassama, according to reports.

Currently featuring for PSG's under-19s side, he has caught the eye of European clubs after his quality performances in the UEFA Youth League, scoring six times in five appearances.

He also provided two assists and bagged a brace in a 3-1 away win at Manchester City in November.

But his immediate future is uncertain given PSG's attacking talent, and he could benefit from further game time to develop.

Gassama is in the last 18 months of his current deal and is reportedly ready to leave the French outfit.

Although the Wanderers have reportedly submitted an offer for the 18-year-old, they are said to be not alone in their pursuit.

German and Swiss sides Hamburg and FC Basel respectively, are also reportedly keen to sign him and Hamburg have apparently made a similar offer.

Although according to French outlet Foot Mercato PSG have rebuffed all offers so far.
