Wimbledon draw: Novak Djokovic, Carlos Alcaraz in top half, Rafa Nadal, Matteo Berrettini in bottom half

Six-time champion Novak Djokovic will kick off his Wimbledon title defence against Kwon Soon-woo while he could meet the impressive Carlos Alcaraz in the quarter-final.

Djokovic, who is gunning for a fourth title in a row at SW19, could face Australian Thanasi Kokkinakis in the second round while big-serving American Reilly Opelka is likely to be his fourth-round rival.

Fifth seed Alcaraz headlines Section 2 of the draw and the Spanish teenager takes on Jan-Lennard Struff first up with his projected fourth-round opponent likely to be 10th Sinner.

However, Italian Sinner has been handed a tough draw as three-time Grand Slam winner Stan Wawrinka is his first-round opponent while he could face two-time Wimbledon champion Andy Murray in the third round.

Murray faces world No 77 James Duckworth from Australia in his first round and if he gets through that then he will likely face American John Isner.

Should the form book hold then Alcaraz and Sinner will battle each other for a place in the quarter-final with the reward likely to be a clash against Djokovic.

French Open runner-up Casper Ruud, who takes on Albert Ramos Vinolas in the first round, is scheduled to be the semi-final opponent, but the Norwegian is likely to face last year’s semi-finalist Hubert Hurkacz in the quarter-final.
