Wimbledon 2023: Dates, ticket ballot and everything we know so far

The most prestigious tennis tournament, Wimbledon, makes a return for 2023!

This is an occasion where the greatest players in the world get together to compete to win the biggest prize of them all. This is a spectacle not to miss for the eager fans sitting in the stands and grandstands of the infamous Centre Court.

Wimbledon celebrates the British summertime like no other sporting event where even the casual tennis fan, right up to avid enthusiasts, will be tuning in to see the likes of Andy Murray, Rafael Nadal, Emma Raducanu and Iga Swiatek in action.

While it is still early days, there is no harm in looking ahead to what fans can expect in 2023.

Here is everything we know so far about Wimbledon 2023:

Wimbledon will take place between the dates of Monday 3rd July 2023 to Sunday 16th July 2023, where the men’s final will take place on Centre Court.

Yes, there is.

Wimbledon’s official website confirmed that the ballot is back and will be run fully online. While tennis fans are entitled to register for tickets, they are not guaranteed tickets for the event itself.

At the time of writing, it has not been confirmed when the ballot will open but we will be sure to add to this section of the article once we learn more. It is expected to open in October 2022.

To join the ballot, members of the public will need to create a myWIMBLEDON account, which is free of charge, and follow the instructions provided once up and running.

While the ticket prices for 2023 have yet to be confirmed, we can go off how much the event’s organisers were charging for the tournament that has just passed.

Single tickets for Wimbledon were priced between £70 and £240, which was an increase of £40 for the top-tier tickets from the year before 2022.
