Will Tekken 8 Be Coming To PS4?

Tekken 8 has been announced and fans of the series are already been asking questions regarding this hugely anticipated game.

Bandai Namco Entertainment are working on an eighth mainline chapter of the beat em’ up franchise and the successful franchise will no doubt continue to be a big hit.

With Tekken 8 probably not out until at least 2023, players are beginning to ask about platform availability in relation to previous-gen consoles, with more emphasis being directed towards the likes of PlayStation 5 in the last 12 months.

With some gaming franchises opting to discount PS4 altogether such as Spider-Man for example, some are wondering whether Bandai Namco will opt to do the same.

At the time of writing, Tekken 8 has finally announced what platforms the latest game in the franchise will be available on.

It is good news that we are finally being given information about Tekken 8, and that should mean that we get a release date in the near future.

Developers Bandai Namco has announced that Tekken 8 will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC. Sadly, this means it will not be available on the PS4. Players on the Nintendo Switch will also not be able to play it.

With more emphasis on next-gen gaming more than ever before, some major gaming franchises are slowly zoning out last-gen consoles and Tekken 8 has followed suit by choosing not to produce a game for this old Sony model.
