Will Smith slaps Chris Rock: WWE legend Jim Ross dubbed over Oscars incident

Another majestic night at the Oscars… or was it?

It would have been, if it wasn’t for Will Smith booking his spot at this year’s WrestleMania with a physical attack on fellow Showbiz star Chris Rock.

After poking fun at Will Smith’s wife Jada, Chris Rock was stunned as he saw Smith leave his seat to confront him on stage.

Many of us initially thought this was scripted, Will Smith seemed to be smiling at the jokes whilst his wife sat looking extremely unimpressed.

Things became much more real seconds later, though, as Will Smith slapped Rock with a clean right hand before walking back to his seat.

The audience looked on in complete disbelief as Smith angrily shouted: “Keep my wife’s name out of your f****** mouth.”

Chris Rock, noticeably stunned by the events, remarked: “That was the greatest night in the history of television.”
