Will Rangers reach Europa League semi final by turning over Braga at Ibrox? Monday Jury

KEITH JACKSON: Fingers crossed as it would represent a monumental achievement for Scottish football. But they’ve got their work cut out. Giovanni van Bronckhorst suddenly looks like a man hoping for the best and struggling for answers. He’ll have to come up with some big ones before Thursday night.

ANDY NEWPORT: Only if they can improve on Thursday’s defeat in Portugal at both ends of the park. They had a dangerous mix of being weak at the back and blunt up front. But the Ibrox roar can propel them to a big performance.

CRAIG SWAN: Rangers has proven themselves capable of really lifting it at Ibrox for Euro nights and they can get into the last four.

GORDON PARKS: A packed Ibrox could provide the edge for another momentous European night for Rangers. Braga aren’t any great shakes and Rangers have enough to score a couple and get through.

KEITH: It would seem like a foolish idea to bet against another clean sweep. Celtic have emerged from a transitional season as by far and a way the strongest team in the country. In fact, it would be a surprise if they didn’t go on from here to take the lot.

ANDY: They certainly look in the mood for it. Celtic are hitting form at exactly the right time and that will spell trouble for their opponents. It’s been a stunning turnaround under Ange Postecoglou.

CRAIG: It is going to need a mighty effort from anyone to stop them. Celtic are absolutely flying and must be odds-on to do it.

GORDON: Yes. They have shown themselves to be a class above the rest and it’s hard to see past anything other than a clean sweep.

KEITH: It’s doubtful. Hibs have got themselves into a mess under Shaun Maloney. The new manager needs time to turn it around but this season looks like a write off already.
