Will Man City beat Liverpool in title race? Predict Premier League results and final table

It's shaping up to be a hugely enthralling battle for the Premier League title this season.

Having coasted to their third English crown in four years, Manchester City appeared well-set to make it four from five before a frustrating draw against Crystal Palace on Monday night. It was an eye-catching result which has now offered further encouragement to second-placed Liverpool.

Four points separates the top-two. However, the Reds do have a game in hand and the title rivals are set to meet in what could be a season-defining fixture at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday, April 10 (4.30pm).

City also have West Ham (May 15) and Aston Villa (May 22) to come between now and the end of the campaign.

Pep Guardiola and his star-studded team put together a sensational winning run after they were beaten by Palace in October. That put them in pole position for the title, but dropping points to the same opponents might yet have an even more significant impact on where the Premier League trophy ends up.

Liverpool head to top-four contenders Arsenal for their game in hand tomorrow night (8.15pm). Beyond that, aside from the City showdown, their most challenging matches on paper come against Villa (April 16), Manchester United (April 19) and Tottenham (May 7).

There is also the small matter of a Merseyside derby for Jurgen Klopp and Liverpool to contend with.
