Wilder wants winner of Usyk Vs Fury, claims Joshua doesn’t want to fight

American KO king Deontay Wilder remains resolute in his quest to resume his role as world champion.

“The Bronze Bomber” reigned as WBC World heavyweight champion from 2015-2020, making 10 successful title defences within that reign.
It was a trilogy of epic encounters with Tyson Fury that saw him dethroned and his record marred with a draw and two knockout defeats.

Wilder exclaimed, “If you’ve got all the belts, you’re gonna have to fight me. That’s still my goal – wipe out the entire heavyweight division.” First of all, the Alabaman has to get past a tough match with former world heavyweight champ Joseph Parker on December 23 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The former world leaders will lock horns on the same festive fight card as Joshua vs Otto Wallin, with a view for the winners to fight each other in the New Year.

AJ and Wilder have been in talks for a long time now, and their respective appearances on the same night are led to believe they will both win their bouts to set up a mega-showdown between them in 2024.

Wilder is in two minds, however, as to whether this will matierialise or not, “He doesn’t want that fight,” he claimed. “Because he’s not confident in his product.

“Joshua is the only money-making fighter Matchroom has. They don’t wanna see their business fall to the likes of me, someone that can end someone’s career.”

Joshua faces Wallin two days before Christmas, while Wilder clashes with Parker, live on DAZN PPV.
