Wigan's Robin Park gears up for big week of shows from Noel Gallagher, Richard Ashcroft, The Lathums and James Arthur - Everything you need to know

Wigan is set to host an epic series of gigs from legendary bands, Manchester icons and chart-topping singers this week.

From Wednesday (July 17) to Sunday (July 21), five mammoth shows will take place in the borough’s Robin Park - featuring performances from the likes of Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, Richard Ashcroft and The Lathums.

The X Factor winner James Arthur will kick things off at the 11,500-capacity arena on Wednesday, with The Verve frontman Richard Ashcroft closing out the week of shows with two gigs at the weekend.

Each of the shows were met with huge demand when they were first announced, but there are still a small number of tickets available to some of the gigs. To help those looking to get a last-minute spot, or those who already have tickets, we’ve rounded up everything you need to know, who’s performing when and who’s supporting each night.

We’ve also looked into how to get to Robin Park, including near-by car parks and which public transport you can use to get to and from the shows.

James Arthur, known for hits including Say You Won't Let Go, Rewrite the Stars, and Lasting Lover, will take to the stage on Wednesday (July 17). There are a limited number of tickets available via Ticketmaster.

The singer, who released his fifth album Bitter Sweet Love in January, will be joined by special guests Scouting for Girls, who have released singles like She’s So Lovely and This Ain't a Love Song, as well as iconic singer Gabrielle - known for hits including Dreams, Rise and Out of Reach.
