Wigan 40-6 Toulouse: Four tries from Abbas Miski inspires Warriors

Lebanon international Abbas Miski scored four to help Wigan ease past Super League strugglers Toulouse 40-6 in front of a 14,000-strong crowd.

The 26-year-old winger has scored six tries in as many games since arriving at Wigan from Championship side London Broncos in the off-season.

Miski got his first inside three minutes thanks to some earlier dancing footwork from Jai Field. Harry Smith’s conversion gave the Warriors an early 6-0 lead.

Wigan were on the front foot from kick-off and they were in again five minutes later through England forward Liam Farrell.

Miski, who has won nine caps for Lebanon, got his second midway through the first half with there being an overlap on the right edge.

Toulouse came out firing at the start of the second half. They scored through Cook Islands World Cup hopeful Dom Peyroux, with Wiganer Chris Hankinson converting.

Man of Steel leader Field scored his 19th try of the season for Wigan. He stepped his way through the Toulouse defence from close.

Miski got his fourth try on the hour which wrapped up his most impressive display to date in a Cherry and White jersey. The Warriors saw the game out and finished comfortable 40-6 winners in front of a crowd of more than 14,000 at the DW.
